Sean: Where did you go to high school?
Owen: I went to Citadel High School. I just graduated last year and now I’m in university, first year at Dalhousie.
Adam: What would you say were your best memories from high school?
Owen: Probably when I was President of the Chess Club. That was really fun and I met a lot of chess enthusiasts.
Sean: Do you think it is important to get involved with the community and the school?
Owen: I think it’s a great opportunity to meet people who share the same interests and to get
together and have fun but I don’t think you have to do if you don’t want to.
Sean: What were your favorite subjects?
Owen: My favorite was probably the computer programming class in Grade 12. I am in the Computer Science Program at Dalhousie so it has been a hobby of mine for a long time.
Adam: Is there any advice you would give to high school students?
Owen: Everything you learned in math, you’ll have to know it in university, so don’t forget it.
